Swimming with sea lions

You now have the unique opportunity here in Gran Canaria to go swimming with sea lions. Come and meet the sea lions face to face. You will be able to stroke the sea lions, get a sealion kiss, swim with them make them jump and get a big sea lion hug. You also get to help the trainer by giving the sea lions signals so they can demonstrate their intelligence and abilities to you.

The program consists of two parts – in the first part the sea lions are out of the water and the trainer explains about the sea lions and how they train them. In the second part you get to go in the water with them!

A great way to spend a non-diving afternoon or as a treat for those in the family who are not divers but like marine life. The pool is only chest height on the average person so you do not need to be able to swim or be very confident in the water. It is suitable for all ages.
