Learning to dive is the start of an adventure in which you will explore the amazing beauty and mystery of another world. SCUBA Diving is one of the most exciting and invigorating activities available and yet one of the easiest and safest to learn. The PADI system of diver education is recognized world wide with more divers learning the PADI way than with any other training agency.

Amadores Beach is located close to the dive centre and is our dive site of choice for beginners and courses. The beach is almost enclosed and therefore perfect for beginners as well as being a nice dive for more advanced divers.

The beach is man-made and is now home to abundant marine life. As it is almost enclosed, the Amadores Beach qualifies as a "confined open water site" in accordance with PADI training regulations and we do use it as much as possible for the confined sections of the PADI courses. However, there are times when this site is not suitable due to bad weather or visibility and at those times we use a private swimming pool which is at our disposal for exclusive use.

We offer the full range of PADI Courses from Discover Scuba Diving to entry level certification courses and onwards to Advanced, Specialty and professional levels.

It is possible to have photos taken during any course or dives with us. We take digital photos and give you a disc to take away for only 20€.

Discover Scuba Diving

Wenn Du gleich ins Wasser willst, um Dir die Unterwasserwelt anzusehen, dann ist Discover Scuba Diving das Richtige für Dich. Wir zeigen Dir all die Fische und interessanten Unterwasserformationen. Für diejenigen von Euch, die es schon einmal versucht haben, ist der nächste Schritt in Richtung eines Zertifikats.

Dieser Kurs wird auf die Scuba Diver oder Open Water Diver Zertifizierung angerechnet. Du kannst heute schon tauchen, wenn Du willst.

Minimum age for Discover Scuba Diving is 10 years. However, there is a similar course available for 8 - 10 year olds called the Bubblemaker Course. It is effectively the same course as Discover Scuba Diving however at a shallower depth.

Scuba Diver Course

Du spielst mit dem Gedanken einen Tauchschein zu machen, aber du hast nicht die Zeit für den Open Water Diver Kurs. Dann ist dieser Kurs genau das Richtige für Dich.

Er gibt die Möglichkeit, ein Paar Flossen und eine Maske anzuziehen und die Unterwasserwelt zu erkunden. Der Scuba Diver ist der erste Schritt als zertifizierter Taucher und erlaubt Dir an jedem Platz der Welt bis zu 12 Meter Tiefe in Begleitung eines professionellen Tauchers zu tauchen.

Open Water Course

Jetzt ist es Zeit in den Open Water Diver Kurs einzutauchen. Der meist besuchte Tauchkurs der Welt. Er ist Dein Ticket zu einer lebenslangen Abendteuer-Garantie.

Während des Kurses lernst Du die fundamentalen Fähigkeiten des Tauchens, inklusive Tauchfertigkeiten und Ausrüstung. Am Ende erhältst Du ein Open Water Diver Zertifikat, welches Dir die Freiheit gibt, selbstständig mit einem anderen Taucher ohne Begleitung eines Tauchlehrers zu tauchen.

The Junior Open Water Diver course for children from 10-15 years is the same program as for adults. However, the junior diver must dive with a certified adult (10 and 11 year olds with a parent or dive professional) to the age of 15 and are limited to a depth of 12 meters.

eLearning

eLearning is now available for the Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air Courses. After enrolling PADI’s eLearning system presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and reading. This allows you to move through the theory part of these courses at your own pace and then to complete the in water part with us here at prd. Click on the image to the right for more information »

For divers under 15 years a Junior Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water diver certification is available, however the maximum depth for the deep dive is limited to 21 m / 70 ft

Rescue Diver Course

Wie denkst Du über Unfallverhütung, Unfallmanagement und einen interessanten Kurs darüber? Wir nennen das den Rescue Diver Kurs. Der Padi Rescue Diver Kurs gibt Dir Wissen und Fertigkeiten über effizientes Assistieren und Retten anderer Taucher. Unter anderem auch über Unfallmanagement und wie Du richtige Erste Hilfe anwendest.

Der Rescue Diver Kurs ist eine wichtige Voraussetzung für alle höheren Padi Zertifikate.
Um an einem Rescue Diver Kurs teilzunehmen, brauchst Du folgende Voraussetzungen:

Als Advanced Open Water Diver ( oder Äquivalent ) zertifiziert sein und einen Kurs in Erste Hilfe inklusive HLW absolviert haben (nicht älter als 2 Jahre). Der Medic First Aid Kurs ist dafür sehr empfehlenswert.

Emergency First Response

Proof of participation in a First Aid/CPR course within the previous two years is a Rescue Diver certification requirement. Puerto Rico Diving offers the internationally recognized Emergency First Response program conducted in one day. During this special course you'll be taught appropriate and useful First Aid and CPR techniques. You will practice recognizing health problems and dealing with all kinds of emergency situations you may come across in real life. This course is recommended for both divers and non-divers.

Scuba Review

If you are a certified diver, but it’has been a while since you've been diving, PADI's Scuba Review is just perfect for you. This refresher course helps you to tune-up your diving skills without having to repeat an entire scuba course.

PADI Specialities

These programs focus on special diving activities. A wealth of acquired knowledge and skills shared with your Specialty instructor will enhance your enjoyment and confidence in your chosen specialty. Remember that all dives completed during your Advanced Open Water Diver course count towards a Specialty Diver rating. As an Advanced Diver some specialty ratings can be earned with only one dive more. Pre-requisites vary from having completed the PADI Open water course, Adventure Diver Course or Advanced Open Water Course depending on the Speciality. Please ask us for more details.

Master Scuba Diver

This is the highest non-professional rating in recreational scuba diving. It denotes a high level of competence and personal achievement for all divers who earn this rating. For the Master Scuba Diver certification, you must complete the PADI Advanced, Rescue and five Specialty courses. This isn't so much a course, as a recognition of your achievements.
